Name - A name to identify this check sample.
Machine 1 and Machine 2 columns - The expected Fat, Protein, Lactose, SNF, SCC, and MUN values for each machine.
Tolerances - There are three tolerance columns: Dev (deviation), Rep (repeatability), and Prg (purging efficiency). The tolerance values are the same for both machines.
Dev - The Deviation column values assume 2 decimal places for Fat, Protein, Lactose, and SNF (4 = 0.04). For SCC and MUN the Dev value is a percentage (7 = SCC must be within 7% of the standard).
Rep - The Repeatability column values assume 2 decimal places for Fat, Protein, Lactose, and SNF (4 = 0.04). For SCC the Rep value is coefficient of variation (CV) with 3 assumed decimal places (40 = 0.040).
Prg - The Purging Efficiency column values are the percentage the measured Purging Efficiency may deviate from 100% (1 = allowed range is 99% to 101%).
Samples - Number of samples (drinks) to take before calculating results.
Repeat - Number of times to repeat this check (take the number of samples specified and calculate results) for each instance that this check is logged on. Typically this is set to one.

In the check sample results printout the components for which tolerance values are specified will show the tolerance range and "IN" or "OUT" flags. Components with a standard value but no tolerance specified will show only the deviation and the standard value.
